"Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the Self” - Bhagavad Gita

We gather here in the Mahicantuck / Hudson Valley of New York a place that is revered for its community and connectedness. Here I acknowledge the original stewards, the Lenape (Esopus) peoples, and the history of this land. It is from yoga that I find balance in my grief and gratitude for those who honored this space before me.

When there is a safe space for svadyaya (self-study), beautiful things happen. I received my 200-hour yoga teacher training from The Yoga House. I learned alongside seven beautiful people each offering their inherent wisdom to our collective growth. I believe the vulnerability we experienced together continues to carry us through our journey.

In practice, I hold space for this self-inquiry. To learn and be inspired by our mind and body. Together we may find solace on our mats and use this space to explore our art. And maybe discover and create something that transcends words. Something to take with us on our journeys.
