Intro to Ashtanga
T/Th 7-8am for 4 weeks
This course is a perfect way to transition into the routine of the Ashtanga practice. In the first three weeks, Jess Spivey will teach you the foundational parts of the practice. In the final week, you will practice under the guidance of the lead Ashtanga Instructor, Laura Olson.
You’ll also receive a demo video and an intro packet. All are welcome. The course fee includes a month of unlimited access to all Mysore classes.

Arm Balances: The Ins & Outs
Balance your body on your hands in a number of different postures. Learn different approaches for coming into various arm balances, including ways to use props and self-assists. Finally, play with transitions from one arm balance to another. The end goal is to have fun, learn about postures, and maybe even fall and laugh a little while building a new relationship to balancing on your hands.

Heal Your Head: Yoga Therapy for Headaches
A majority of headaches are caused by neck & shoulder tension. Learn how to reduce tension and align your head, neck and shoulders with simple exercises. We will discuss the different types of headaches, causes and techniques to break patterns of stress. The workshop will draw from Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Acupressure or Marma Therapy and relaxation techniques.
