Start out 2020 with Jacquelyn Nash at a special New Year’s Day House Flow. The class is suitable for all levels, starting out slow and working your way up to a flowing pace that is just right for New Year’s Day. Finish up with some restorative postures for rejuvenation and a short meditation to set the tone for a new beginning. The class is by donation, with a suggested $20 donation, and all proceeds will go to Ulster Immigrant Defense Network
“To practice kama [pleasure] yogically means to be fully present with whatever you’re experiencing.” – Sally Kempton
Every time we come to our yoga mats is an opportunity to treat ourselves with kindness, mindfulness, and love. That “blissed out” feeling we often feel after a yoga class comes not only from moving the body, connecting with breath, and clearing our minds, but also from the joy and pleasure of treating ourselves well.
On Saturday, February 11th, join Vinyasa yoga instructor Allison Gould for a special evening that honors the love we give to our selves. The evening will begin with an extra juicy, warming, rejuvenating vinyasa flow – designed to leave you feeling simultaneously enlivened and relaxed.
Following the practice, we will share in a celebration of some of the greatest pleasures of life: wine and chocolate. A simple indulgence for the sake of pleasure, joy and love.
Treat yourself, bring a friend, and join with our community for an evening that honors the sweetness of love. Email to pre-register: [email protected]
