Price Changes Beginning October 1

We’ve been amazed at the growth of the studio and the wonderful people we’ve met since opening our doors three years ago. A beautiful community has developed and we feel the need to better accommodate the growing number of students who walk through our doors. To this end, we are in search of a bigger uptown space where arms can reach wide and hearts can expand without limit as yogis float in and out of postures.

In order to support our growth in space and in overhead, along with more teachers and additional programs at The Yoga House, we are (finally) taking the advice of our advisers and raising our class prices on October 1. We will remain competitive, but our new prices will better support the growth of our flourishing community and assist us in attracting the best quality programming we possibly can. We will continue to offer a by-donation class on Sunday evenings as part of our mission to keep yoga accessible.

The new prices are as follows:

Drop-In: $15*
5-Class Card: $65 ($13/class)
10-Class Card: $120 ($12/class)
Unlimited Monthly: $110
Yearly Subscription: $95/mo for 12 mos

*Please note that the Drop-In price for our 60-min classes will remain $13.

Since the price changes will not take effect until October 1st, there is still time to purchase class cards at the lower rates currently listed on our website.

As always, we are truly grateful for your support and for being an essential part of The Yoga House community. If you have any questions or comments about the change, please feel free to email us.

~Om Shanti~

NEW Class Time Beginning in October! Tues/Thur 7:00-8:00am — House Flow with Julie

Early Morning House Flow

T/Th 7:00-8:00am

You asked, and we want to deliver! For those who like to get an early start, we’re offering a morning House Flow, beginning this October. It’s just one-hour long on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00am to 8:00am with Julie Colton. The class will be an abbreviated version of our cornerstone, open-level flow class. See our schedule page for information about class times, subs and cancellations.

House Flow

This is our classic, open-level Vinyasa Flow class. In it, we honor the infinite possibility inherent in each breath as we move through an asana practice that is equal parts challenging and sweet. Asana practice becomes a transformational and healing experience when it is intimately tied to breath-work. Although the class is physically rigorous, we offer modifications to accommodate your level of experience.

Julie Coltonjulie colton, the yoga house, kingston, ny

Music and the arts have engrossed Julie since she started to play for various Protestant churches at the age of 10. With undergraduate degrees in Jazz Piano Performance and Music Composition, she found the perfect blend of art and spirituality when she started practicing yoga years ago. In the artistic beauty of the yoga asanas, symbolizing components of Julie Colton, The Yoga House, Kingston, NYnature, and in the vibrational energy of music, Julie found in yoga a way to, as Joseph Campbell would say, “follow [her] bliss.”

Considering herself the eternal student who is now lucky enough to teach what she has learned, she is continuing her studies in graduate school so she can teach high school Biology and Math.  She continues the spiritual journey of practicing the eight limbs of yoga as well as studying healing arts like Reiki.
