House Flow – This is our classic, open-level Vinyasa Flow class. In it, we honor the infinite possibility inherent in each breath as we move through an asana practice that is equal parts challenging and sweet. Asana practice becomes a transformational and healing experience when it is intimately tied to breath-work. Although the class is physically rigorous, we offer modifications to accommodate your level of experience.
has been practicing yoga since 1999, when he tried it to reduce stress from his job. His love of the physical practice soon grew to include a love of the more spiritual and philosophical aspects, incorporating all of it into his daily life. He has studied all kinds of yoga styles, especially Anusara yoga, having completed the three Anusara immersions. He completed his teacher training with Michael Stein at the Ashtanga yoga studio in New Paltz, finding his voice as a yoga teacher by combining his natural attraction to playfulness, open heart, alignment-oriented sequences of poses, while building strength and flexibility, and encouraging self-discovery. He aspires to guide students to come to the same joy and fulfillment that he has found.

Music and the arts have encompassed Julie’s life since she started to play for various Protestant churches at the age of 10. With undergraduate degrees in Jazz Piano Performance and Music Composition, she found the perfect blend of art and spirituality when she started practicing yoga years ago. In the artistic beauty of the yoga asanas, symbolizing components of nature, and in the vibrational energy of music, Julie found in yoga a way to, as Joseph Campbell would say, “follow [her] bliss.”
Considering herself the eternal student who now wants to teach what she has learned, she is continuing her studies in graduate school so she can teach high school Biology and Math. She continues the spiritual journey of practicing the eight limbs of yoga as well as studying healing arts like Reiki.
