Namaste, I am Sharada from India living in Syracuse. I am professionally trained as a counseling psychologist, certified yoga instructor and Ayurvedic-wellness practitioner. My curiosity towards Ayurveda began when I was a kid as my grandfather was an Ayurvedic doctor. That’s where it all started. My passion is to live and spread the wellness of yoga and Ayurveda as a way of life. Looking forward to coming and sharing this Ancient Medical System – The Knowledge of Life.

Come Learn About Young Living Essential Oils
Saturday, May 9th
1:30PM – 3:00PM
The Yoga House
57 Crown Street, Kingston
T h e W o r k s h o p :
Come learn about Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils and how they can make a huge difference in the quality of your life. Essential oils are the immune system of plants making them a completely natural and non-toxic way to positively impact your health and wellbeing. Essential Oils work with your body vs. against it and they are safe to use during pregnancy, on small children and with pets! If you’re already eating organic foods and using dried herbs then you NEED to hear this info and if you’re trying to be more holistically oriented then you don’t want to miss out. We will cover the history of essential oil usage, why brand matters, how to create a non-toxic home, why essential oils work, 10 oils and how to use them for common ailments that pop up (fever, headaches, migraines, stress, anxiety, depression, bug bites, and constipation to name a few), how to naturally boost your immune system and much more. This will be an experiential class where you get to smell, apply and taste (yes, you can ingest these oils) if you wish! Option to order oils will be available if you choose.
Jennifer Hairston-Davis is big on empowerment and helping others in mind, body and soul. She is a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Reiki Master Teacher and Young Living Consultant. She has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Binghamton University and a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University. Jennifer has been in clinical practice as a psychotherapist for 11 years and has her own practice in Merrick, NY. She also teaches Reiki classes regularly and holds a monthly healing circle as a safe place for spiritual exploration and the practice / advancement of energy work. Jennifer began her journey with Young Living Essential Oils in October of 2014. Reiki, the study of energy and a chronically sick child led her into the world of natural healing. Jennifer is a firm believer that people should have choices, including non-toxic and natural wellness solutions, such that they can take their health into their own hands (literally and figuratively). As a result, she teaches classes on the benefits of essential oils, how to use them and what they can be used for. Essential oils are infused in her lifestyle and healing practices as tools to increase physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. After months of using the oils on herself and her family, she decided to start sharing her experiences with others and has helped many people to embrace a new way of living.
