Looking for a fun way to spend a winter Saturday evening? Join us for a benefit event to support Corazón de Dahlia’s Education and Arts Center for Impoverished Youth. Light food and refreshments will be offered along with music from vinyl tunes spun by DJ Ali Gruber. Dancing is not mandatory, but it might be unavoidable.
What is Corzaón de Dahlia?
Corazón de Dahlia was started by one of The Yoga House’s community members, Dahlia Graham, after her years of traveling to Peru and connecting with the people and children in the town where she stayed. She saw a need for a program that would provide children and families with opportunities for social and academic enrichment, emphasizing respect for the people and land around them. Thus, Carazón de Dahlia was began.
Now, years later, the organization’s teachers, social worker, and volunteers play an integral role in creating a safe, nurturing, and educational space for our students to thrive, and become positive agents of change in their own communities. They currently serve over 90 children per day ages 6-12, and we truly rely on your support. This event will be a lot of fun: refreshments, music by DJ Ali Gruber, and a raffle!
Please help this organization make a deeper impact than ever before.
