“When we see the beauty of our own being we are seeing the beauty of the Being that is the One of which we are all a part. And when we turn towards that One, love is the natural reaction of the heart.” -Krishna Das

Kirtan is a celebration of life in song. Join voices with our satsang, or community, for an evening of devotional music and call & response chanting led by Bobbie Marchand. This event will be held at The Yoga House unless we’re busting at the seams in which case we will announce a location change to BSP’s upstairs dance space. Visit our Events page for updates. No registration required but we would appreciate if you RSVP to our FaceBook Event so that we can gauge interest.

YOGA House in Kingston, NY

The Yoga House co-founder, Jacqui Nash

Join trained Ashtanga instructor, Jacqui Nash, for this traditional practice passed down to us by Sri Pattabhi Jois. We will be practicing the Primary Series (Yoga Chikitsa).

Who can practice Ashtanga Yoga?

Anyone! All levels of practitioners are welcome for this monthly class.

Although we’re offering the class only once a month, you might be surprised to find that even monthly exposure to the discipline of Ashtanga yoga can awaken and invigorate your regular yoga practice. Come explore the challenges of the body, but most importantly, the mind. Read more about the practice here.

Drop-in is $15 or use your class card.

New Year’s Eve at The Yoga House

Usher in the new year with your extended yoga family!

Kingston’s annual ball drop will be the main event taking place uptown, but our doors are going to be open from 8:00pm till midnight. If you plan to head uptown this New Year’s Eve, drop by The Yoga House for a glass of champagne, a few hors d’oeuvres, or some kid-friendly bubbly. Pop in for a few minutes or hang out for a few hours. The more the merrier, so friends and family are all welcome.

We’re keeping this casual, but we’d love if you’d RSVP so we know how much finger food to order!

Beginners Class Added to Our Morning Schedule

New Beginners Yoga Class

Thursdays, 9:30am

Coming November 5th
with Mel Toth

Learn or revisit the fundamentals every Thursday morning at our newly added Beginners Class, 9:30-10:45am with Mel Toth. We all come to the mat with a unique bodily history, and Mel knows how to get to the heart of how yoga can be your best medicine. One of Mel’s gifts is her attentiveness to each individual. She will pay close attention to your specific needs, and she will break down each posture, offering modifications and suggesting props in order to make any newcomer or returning practitioner feel comfortable. Hope to see you in class!
