    3. Warm Vinyasa – Leigha
      5:30 pm – 7:00 pm

Warm Vinyasa - This is an open-level class with a catch: climate control set to about 85 degrees. We’re not aiming for crazy-hot, just good and warm–enough to ramp up your metabolic fire and make you feel as bendy as possible. When the room is heated, stiff muscles and joints melt open easily, twists are deeper, and the sweat pours more freely. Loyal attendees report, you leave with a natural high.

Leigha, Crow, Yoga, Kingston, NY, The Yoga House

      Says Leigha:

Yoga doesn’t just make me smile; it makes me smile at the cellular level. It has awakened parts of my body that might otherwise have slumbered for decades. It has breathed life and love into every part of my being, and it will for you too if you let it (maybe it already has). In my classes I very simply aim to share the joy yoga has brought me. That’s why we play and jump and fly and fall. I am sharing my practice with you in the hopes that you’ll fall in love like I did.

Therapeutics/Restorative (or “Therapeutics with a Restorative Twist”)
      Sundays, 3:00 – 4:30
Need a moment to restore and regenerate from the stresses of life? Step into Therapeutics class, where we take time to use alignment principles in order to heal and strengthen the body. Using slow, gentle, modified postures, and breath work, this class promises to bring renewal to anyone who is chronically injured, recovering from surgery or just a long day. We end class with several longer restorative postures designed to open and release the body on the deepest healing levels.
      Cait Van Damm, RYT 200
Cait’s path to yoga began nearly ten years ago, when she first studied with Ami Jayaprada Hirchstein in New Paltz, NY. Trained in the Anusara method, she is dedicated to making conscious play available to all, and believes the healing and joy comes to us both on and off the mat when we engage the yogic superhero in each of us.
When not practicing or teaching, Cait is pursuing a master’s degree in pediatric occupational therapy. She is particularly interested in making yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, race, gender or sexual orientation, or ability level.

    2. Spiritual Warrior – Craig
      6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Spiritual Warrior - Jivamukti Spiritual Warrior classes are designed for busy people who only have an hour to practice. The class is fast paced and invigorating and is certainly a “get-in-shape” class. The structure is a fixed sequence instructed in a vinyasa style. It is a fully balanced class including asana warm-up, chanting, setting of intention, Surya Namaskar, standing poses, backbends, forward bends, twists, inversions, meditation and relaxation. The teacher focuses on keeping the pace moving and does not stop to give spiritual discourses. Since the asana sequence is always the same, a student will pick it up quite quickly after only a couple of classes.
